FRESNO, Calif. -- Fresno State and California will play next season at Candlestick Park in San Francisco in only the third meeting between the schools.

The Bulldogs announced Monday that they added nonconference games against Cal on Sept. 3 and at San Diego State on Dec. 3.

Fresno State has beaten Cal the previous two times the schools played. The Bulldogs won the most recent meeting 17-3 in 2000 in Fresno.

The Golden Bears are renovating Memorial Stadium and playing their home games at AT&T Park next season.

Fresno State and San Diego State will both be in the Mountain West conference in 2012. They have not played each other since 2002.
