No. 2 Minnesota State-Mankato beat then-No. 7 Minnesota-Duluth 21-17 causing a reshuffling of teams in the AFCA Division II Coaches’ Top 25 poll. The top six teams remained unchanged with Valdosta State (Ga.) holding onto the No. 1 spot for a fourth consecutive week. The Blazers are followed by Minnesota State-Mankato, No. 3 Northwest Missouri State, No. 4 West Texas A&M, No. 5 Colorado State-Pueblo and No. 6 Missouri Western State.

Indiana (Pa.), Henderson State, Grand Valley State and Carson-Newman each moved up one spot to slot in seventh through 10th, respectively.
With its loss, Minnesota-Duluth drops to No. 13 in the poll, while Indianapolis fell 10 spots to No. 22 after its 31-14 loss to FCS member Drake. Tuskegee and North Alabama dropped out of the poll this week, making room for Emporia State at No. 24 and Tarleton State at No. 25. This is Tarleton State’s first ranking in the AFCA Division II Coaches’ Top 25 since the final poll in 2009.
