Savage left last Saturday's 14-3 win against Virginia in the fourth quarter after taking a helmet-to-helmet shot from Cavaliers defensive back Daquan Romero. Wide receiver Tyler Boyd described Savage as ''drowsy'' on the sideline while wide receiver Devin Street called Savage ''dazed.'' Pitt spokesman E.J. Borghetti said Monday that Savage is only dealing with ''mild symptoms'' and is making progress. Savage completed 13 of 30 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions while also enduring seven sacks against the Cavaliers.
