Baylor had 864 yards of total offense in its win against West Virginia, breaking the Big 12 single-game record. It was also the most by any FBS team in the past 10 seasons. The most previously was 844 yards by Nevada in 2010.

Georgia’s Aaron Murray threw for 196 yards in the Bulldogs’ victory against Tennessee to give him 11,625 passing yards for his career and become the all-time leader in the SEC. He broke the record of 11,528 set by Georgia’s David Green from 2001-04.
