This week sees John Carroll enter the poll at No. 21. It’s the first time the Blue Streaks have been in the poll since Sept. 30, 2003. No. 24 Illinois Wesleyan and No. 25 St. John’s (Minn.) both find themselves back on the poll as well.

Concordia-Moorhead took advantage of the shuffle in the bottom half of the poll to move five spots, up to No. 18, during their bye week. This sets up a top 20 matchup between the Cobbers and No. 8 Bethel (Minn.), as the Royals will be looking to take care of business on the road.

For the first time since 1989, John Carroll University football stands alone atop the Ohio Athletic Conference. The Blue Streaks defeated No. 1 Mount Union 31-28 to win the 2016 OAC Championship on Saturday.
