Marshall, Louisville agree to move '14 game

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Marshall has agreed to move its home football game against Louisville next year to 2016 to accommodate the Cardinals' move to the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Marshall announced the scheduling change Tuesday.

The game was originally scheduled for Sept. 27, 2014, and now will be played on Sept. 24, 2016.

Louisville joins the ACC starting next July.

Marshall says it will announce an opponent later to replace Louisville on next year's schedule.
