Northwestern lost to Minnesota 20-17. It was the Wildcats’ third consecutive loss since being ranked 16th in the AP poll the week of Oct. 1.


Fresno State’s Davante Adams tied the school's single-game record with four touchdown catches in the Bulldogs’ 38-14 victory against UNLV. He also tied the school record for career touchdown catches with 25. Adams had eight catches for 221 yards.


Baylor racked up 714 yards of offense in its 71-7 victory against Iowa State, the fourth time in six games the Bears have amassed at least 700 yards of offense.


Stephen F. Austin’s Brady Attaway threw six touchdown passes in the Lumberjacks’ 55-41 victory against Nicholls State. He was 35 of 50 for 337 yards. Attaway has 866 completions, second all time in the Southland Conference.


Baylor defeated Iowa State 71-7 to tie a school record with its 10th consecutive victory.


Missouri defeated Florida 36-17 to become the first conference opponent in 14 games to score at least 21 points against the Gators. The Tigers outgained Florida 500-151.


Penn defeated Columbia 21-7 for the Quakers’ 17th consecutive victory against the Lions.


Tennessee beat then-No. 11 South Carolina 23-21 to end a 19-game losing streak to ranked opponents.


Through six games, Florida State’s Jameis Winston is responsible for 20 more touchdowns than turnovers. That’s equal to Robert Griffin III and Johnny Manziel through the same number of games of their Heisman Trophy seasons. Winston threw for 444 yards with three TDs and one interception in the Seminoles’ 51-14 win against Clemson.


Mississippi beat then-No. 6 LSU 27-24, its first win against an AP top-10 team since beating No. 10 LSU in November 2009.


Arizona’s Ka’Deem Carey had a school-record 40 carries in the Wildcats’ 35-24 victory against Utah. He rushed for 236 yards, including a 44-yard TD run.


It had been 41 years since Missouri had beaten consecutive ranked opponents before knocking off Georgia and Florida the past two weeks.


Fresno State’s Derek Carr set a school record with 85 career touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 38-14 win against UNLV. He also set the school’s career mark with 849 completions. Carr completed 33 of 46 passes for 412 yards -- becoming the third Fresno QB with 10,000 career passing yards -- and four TDs.


Washington State’s Connor Halliday set an FBS record with 89 pass attempts in the Cougars’ 62-38 loss to Oregon. His 58 completions tied the all-time FBS mark. He threw for a school-record 557 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions.


Oklahoma State’s Josh Stewart had a 95-yard punt return for a touchdown in the Cowboys’ 24-10 victory against TCU, the longest punt return for a TD in school history. Stewart added 10 catches for 141 yards.


Michigan and Indiana combined for 110 points as the Wolverines beat the Hoosiers 63-47. It’s the third-most points scored in a Big Ten game.


BYU set an FBS record by running 115 offensive plays in a 47-46 win against Houston. Six of the Cougars' eight scoring drives went for 70 yards or longer.


Colorado State’s Kapri Bibbs rushed for a career-high 201 yards in the Rams’ 52-22 win against Wyoming. He averaged 6.9 yards per rush and scored three TDs.


Fordham’s Sam Ajala set a school record with 282 yards receiving in the Rams’ 52-31 win against Yale. He also tied the school record with four TD catches.


Carson-Newman beat Tusculum 45-17 to give head coach Ken Sparks his 314th career win, tying Amos Alonzo Stagg and Roy Kidd for seventh on the career list.


Northern Illinois’ Jordan Lynch set an FBS record for a quarterback with 316 yards rushing in the Huskies’ 38-17 victory against Central Michigan. He broke the record held by another Northern Illinois QB, Stacey Robinson, who had 308 rushing yards in 1990. Lynch rushed for three touchdowns.


Michigan’s Jeremy Gallon set a Big Ten record with 369 receiving yards in the Wolverines’ 63-47 victory against Indiana. He had 14 receptions, including two for touchdowns.


Fordham’s Mike Nebrich set a career high with 421 yards passing in the Rams’ 52-31 win against Yale. It’s the second consecutive week Nebrich has reached his personal best. He was recently added to the Walter Payton Award watch list.


Morehead State’s Austin Gahafer passed for a career-high 458 yards in the Eagles’ 42-28 win against Valparaiso. He also set a career-high mark with 41 completions. Gahafer threw for three TDs.


Michigan’s Devin Gardner set a school record with 584 yards of offense in the Wolverines' 63-47 victory against Indiana. He also set a school record with 503 yards passing and tied a mark with five touchdowns.


Michigan set a school record with 751 yards of offense in its 63-47 victory against Indiana. The Wolverines gave up 572 yards, their worst defensive performance since allowing 624 yards to Oregon in 2007.


Buffalo’s Branden Oliver set the school record with 3,203 career rushing yards in the Bulls’ 32-3 victory against Massachusetts. He rushed for 216 yards and a touchdown.
