The Associated Press | October 27, 2013 WCSU's McKoy sets NCAA rushing record Share WORCESTER, Mass. -- Octavias McKoy ran for 455 yards to set an NCAA record for all divisions in Western Connecticut State's 55-35 victory against Worcester State on Saturday. McKoy scored five touchdowns in a game for the third time this season. He broke the rushing record previously held by Dante Brown of Marietta. Brown ran for 441 on Oct. 5, 1996, against Baldwin-Wallace. McKoy, a senior, had 43 carries. He scored from 15, 1, 41, 53 and 71 yards out and has 23 TDs on the season. LaDainian Tomlinson holds the FBS record with 406 yards for TCU against UTEP on Nov. 20, 1999.
