Music City Bowl set for 3 p.m. ET Dec. 30

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Music City Bowl will take place on Dec. 30 for a second consecutive season.

Bowl officials announced on Monday the date of their 2014 game and the 3 p.m. ET kickoff time.

This marks the fourth time in the past five years that the Music City Bowl has taken place on Dec. 30. The 2012 game was played on Dec. 31.

The Music City Bowl matches a Southeastern Conference representative against a team from either the Atlantic Coast Conference or Big Ten. Mississippi beat Georgia Tech 25-17 in last year's Music City Bowl.
