Dr. Nice Guy

Marcus Mariota should not have gotten so much flack for taking golf and yoga as classes in the Fall semester.

After all, doctors do play a lot of golf.

Mariota's success in the classroom has earned him enough credits to go to medical school, should this whole football thing not work out.

But with 3,665 passing yards and 31 touchdowns last season, it's safe to say things are going just fine on the field for the Heisman Trophy candidate.

However, Mariota has not let himself get complacent in his endeavors that extend beyond the sidelines.  Some things you won't see on during everyday coverage of Mariota is his willingness to do things like show up at a Boys & Girls Club unannounced or stay in the library until the lights go out; although these are in fact some of his daily habits.
