Surgery ‘went well’

It appears Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller's shoulder surgery was successful.

Miller posted a photo on his Instagram account with Dr. James Andrews following surgery, with the caption reading that Andrews said the surgery "went well."

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer confirmed to The Associated Press that the surgery was successful.

Miller will miss the entire season with a torn labrum in his right shoulder.
