CARLISLE, PA -- Ninth-ranked Johns Hopkins scored the first 42 points and rolled for 454 yards of total offense as the Blue Jays knocked Dickinson 42-7 at Biddle Field Friday night. The Blue Jays improve to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in the Centennial Conference, while the Red Devils slip to 2-4 overall and 2-3 in conference play.

The Blue Jays wasted no time taking control as they led 7-0 after their first offensive play and 14-0 less than six minutes into the game. That lead swelled to 21-0 by the end of the first quarter and 28-0 at the half.

Johns Hopkins' quarterback Braden Anderson accounted for four of JHU's six touchdowns on the night as he was 9-of-18 for 171 yards and the two touchdowns and also rushed for 64 yards and two scores. The Blue Jays gained 259 of its 454 yards on the ground.

Junior Keith Corliss led Johns Hopkins defensively as he posted 10 tackles in the win. Johns Hopkins forced three Dickinson turnovers, posted a pair of sacks and held the Devils to 248 yards of total offense. The Blue Jays also Dickinson's Cedric Madden to just 44 yards on 13 carries. Madden entered the game as the Centennial Conference's leading rusher averaging 119 yards per game.

No. 1 Wisconsin-Whitewater 52, Wisconsin-Eu Claire 3

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- Wisconsin-Whitewater head football coach Lance Leipold earned his 100th career victory, becoming the fastest in NCAA history to reach the milestone Saturday as the top-ranked Warhawks defeated Wisconsin-Eau Claire 52-3 at Carson Park.

Leipold, who has led UW-Whitewater to five NCAA Division III National Championships in seven seasons, needed just 106 games to reach triple digits in wins. The previous all-division record was held by Gil Dobie, who reached the 100-win plateau in his 108th game in 1921 (100-5-3) as the head coach at Cornell.

The Warhawks have now won 23 consecutive games, the second-longest streak in the NCAA including all divisions.

The Warhawks (6-0 overall, 3-0 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) shook off a slow start offensively to post 403 total yards, including 273 in the second half. Whitewater's defense allowed just 30 yards in the second half and forced four turnovers from the Blugolds (0-6, 0-3).

Senior quarterback Matt Behrendt posted 194 yards and tossed three touchdowns. Junior running back Jordan Ratliffe tallied nine carries for 79 yards and a score, while junior running back Dennis Moore piled up 67 yards on just six carries.

No. 2 Mary Hardin-Baylor 45, Louisiana College 24

BELTON, Texas -- Second-ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor dominated the first quarter as the Cru posted a 45-24 victory against Louisiana College Saturday at Crusader Stadium. UMHB improves to 6-0 overall, 2-0 in American Southwest Conference play while the Wildcats fall to 2-4 overall and 0-1 in the ASC.

Louisiana College failed to convert an onside kickoff to open the game and UMHB quarterback Zach Anderson hit Wykeyhe Walker with a 43-yard touchdown pass on the game's first offensive play to give the Cru a 7-0 lead just eight seconds into the game.

Jacob O'Neill added a 40-yard field goal and Blake Jackson scored on a two-yard run while Anderson found Eric Nelson for a 41-yard scoring strike as the Cru built a 24-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Easton Melancon found Ladarius Gardner with a 56-yard scoring pass with 8:08 left in the second quarter to cut it to 24-7, but UMHB answered with Anderson's 38-yard touchdown pass to Nelson just two plays later.

UMHB rolled up 516 yards of total offense with 310 of those coming through the air. Louisiana College finished with 473 yards of total offense throwing for 399 yards on 77 pass attempts.

No. 3 Mount Union 58, Heidelberg 17

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Third-ranked Mount Union posted a season-high 746 total yaeds as the Purple Raiders won 58-17 against Heidelberg in Ohio Athletic Conference play Saturday at Mount Union Stadium.

The offense paced by sophomore running back Bradley Mitchell, ran for a career-high 184 yards on 27 carries with two touchdowns. Senior quarterback Kevin Burke threw for three scores on 295 yards passing and ran for two additional scores on 89 yards rushing as Mount Union (6-0, 5-0 OAC) won its 89th consecutive regular season game and 78th home game in a row.

Juniors Roman Namdar and Taurice Scott both had over 100 yards receiving as Namdar had a game-high 120 yards and a TD on five catches, while Scott had 117 yards on five catches with a score.

Mount Union's defense held Heidelberg running back Cartel Brooks to one yard on seven carries. Quarterback Michael Mees threw for 293 yards but completed just 21 of 43 passes and was sacked a season-high six times.  

Along with the six sacks, the Raiders had a pair of interceptions and a forced a fumble.

No. 4 Wesley 70, Menlo College 2

ATHERTON, Calif. -- Fourth-ranked Wesley totaled 661 yards of offense, including 265 on the ground, en route to a 70-2 victory at Menlo College on Saturday afternoon. The Wolverines improve to 7-0 while the Oaks fall to 2-5 on the season.

Joe Callahan passed for four touchdowns, all in the first half, and finished 23-of-30 for 355 yards before giving way to Zach Smith in the third quarter.  The run game went wild in the second half behind Ben Martin's career-high 194 yards and three scores on just five carries.

On the receiving end, Steve Koudossou had a team-high 95 receiving yards while five different players caught touchdown passes, including Jamar Baynard (4 catches, 81 yards) and Kyle George (5 catches, 80 yards). Bryce Shade and Xavier Allen also found the end zone on passing plays for Wesley.

The Wolverines scored touchdowns on its first two possessions with its first capping off an 11 play, 68 yard drive that ate up nearly three minutes.

No. 5 Linfield 65, Whitworth 13

McMINNVILLE, Ore. -- Sam Riddle passed for five touchdowns and ran for one more as No. 5 Linfield beat Whitworth 65-13 Saturday afternoon in Northwest Conference football at Maxwell Field. With the win, the Wildcats (5-0 overall, 3-0 NWC) assured themselves a 59th consecutive winning season, extending their all-time record for college football at any level.

The Wildcats finished with 719 yards total offense -- 352 rushing and 367 passing - in the homecoming victory, the third-highest single-game total in school history. Linfield held Whitworth (4-3, 2-2), which averaged 478.5 yards and 42.2 points per game this season, to 264 yards, including just 124 in the first half as the ‘Cats built a 34-7 lead.

Linfield was also sharp defensively, sacking Whitworth quarterback Bryan Peterson six times and holding the pass-first pivot to just 164 yards through the air. Tackle Jeremy Girod led the defensive surge with two sacks and one other tackle for loss. Cornerback Kennedy Johnson turned in a career-best and game-high nine tackles.

Riddle finished with 312 yards passing, completing 18 of 28 with one interception and the five touchdowns. He also carried 10 times for 49 yards and a score.

No. 6 Wartburg 42, Dubuque 9

WAVERLY, Iowa -- Sixth-ranked Wartburg moved to 6-0 on the year and 3-0 in Iowa Conference games with its 42-9 win over Dubuque (2-4, 1-2) Saturday in the annual Homecoming game.

Junior running back Brandon Domeyer led the team on the ground with 130 yards on 19 carries for two touchdowns. The game was his second 100-yard performance this season and seventh 100-yard of his career.

The Knights capped off their first drive with a 14-yard touchdown run to take the early 7-0 lead, just four minutes into the game.
The Spartans answered on their ensuing drive as they got on the board with a 25-yard touchdown pass to even the score.

Both teams went three-and-out on their next possesion, and the Orange and Black capitalized on good field position as junior Logan Schrader found Robbie Anstoetter for a 23-yard touchdown pass as Wartburg regained the lead (14-7).

Wartburg quarterback Logan Schrader finished 11 of 20 for 133 yards and two touchdowns.

Robbie Anstoetter led all receivers with 43 yards on three catches for two touchdowns.

Junior Gunner Tranel led the defense with 11 tackles (four solo, seven assists) and while Will Janssen also recorded double digit tackles with 10 stops.

No. 7 John Carroll 80, Marietta 0

Seventh-ranked John Carroll (6-0, 5-0 OAC) rolled to an 80-0 shutout against Marietta (2-4, 1-4 OAC) on Saturday afternoon inside Don Shula Stadium.

Aramis Greenwood recorded three first half touchdown receptions to reach 25 for his 3-year career. The senior set the all-time receiving touchdown record and surpassed Larry Holmes (1997-00). 

A week after putting up 55 first half points in a 69-0 rout of Wilmington, John Carroll notched 49 first half points, giving the Blue and Gold an 104-0 margin in the first half over the last two weeks.

JCU's defense picked off three passes as Nick Stull returned the third one for a fourth quarter touchdown, the second defensive score of the day. The interception return was one of five second-half scores.

No. 10 Wabash 52, Kenyon College 10

Tenth-ranked Wabash handled its business Saturday against a winless Kenyon College. For the third time this season, the Little Giants held a team to negative yards. The Lords finished with minus-seven rush yards in a 52-10 lopsided North Coast Athletic Conference win.

In the first quarter, Mason Zurek '16 and Tyler Holmes '14 punched in one-yard scores. Houston Hodges caught a 19-yard pass from Michael Putko as Wabash jumped to a 21-0 lead.

Szabi Simo connected on a 24-yard field goal in the second quarter for Kenyon before Holmes responded with his second rushing touchdown to give the Little Giants a 28-3 halftime advantage.

Seven Little Giants had a rush attempt, seven more caught a pass, and 23 made tackles as backup linebacker and special teams ace Connor Karns had six-and-a-half tackles, the second most by a Wabash defender.

Karns and the rest of the second team defense took the field with 6:59 remaining in the third quarter. He also added a sack in the final minutes of the game.
