Barlow ousted as Alabama State coach

Alabama State on Monday parted ways with eight-year head football coach Reggie Barlow.

A news release stated that the school's board of trustees had voted not to renew Barlow's contract.

Barlow, who also played at ASU, was 49-42 as head coach. The Hornets went 7-5 this year, including three consecutive wins to end the season.
