2015 Rimington Trophy watch list announced

The 2015 Rimington Trophy preseason watch list was released on Tuesday.

An award for the top center in college football, the finalists will be announced on Dec. 7 with the winner being named on Dec. 10 at the Home Depot College Football Awards Show. The winner is selected by determining the consensus All-America center pick from the Walter Camp, Sporting News and Football Writers Association of America All-America teams. Reese Dismukes of Auburn won the 2014 trophy.

Michigan State's Jack Allen, a finalist from 2014, headlines the list. Overall, seventeen players on the 2015 list have appeared before. The award, which was first handed out in 2000, is named after former Nebraska standout Dave Rimington.
