Arkansas Tech lined up with 10 players on the field for its first defensive play of the season as a way to honor Zemaric Holt, a former Wonder Boys defensive lineman, who drowned this summer.
It turned out to be the perfect way to pay tribute to Holt. Arkansas Tech forced a fumble that linebacker Nick Akins ultimately recovered in the end zone for a touchdown.
What an incredible moment and overall performance from Arkansas Tech on Thursday. Surely playing with heavy hearts, the Wonder Boys dominated its opponent Southern Nazarene 62-14.
