The Dragons of Minnesota State-Moorhead hadn't started a season with two consecutive victories since 2006.
Until Saturday.
Moorhead was trailing Concordia-St. Paul 28-24, and had four seconds left on the clock when quarterback Jake Hodge chucked the ball deep to Damon Gibson. However, the ball bounced off Gibson's hands.
Then, as Dragons fans held their breath, the football gods looked favorable upon Moorhead, and Dragons wide reciever Cory Ambrose caught the tipped pass in the corner of the endzone to start their season 2-0 for the first time in nine years.
