College football teams gruel through weeks of summer practice to put their best product on the field on Saturdays. The season is fairly long, but schools only play 12 (or so) games, and because of the small sample size, each contest is crucial.
So when a team like, say, the Oklahoma Sooners pull of a miraculous comeback against Tennessee, itās cause for celebration. And in the first two weeks of the 2015 season, weāve seen some good ones.
In no particular order, here are some of the best postgame locker room moments from this season.
Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield gave us a taste of his dance moves this offseason:

So as you could imagine, they were on full display after the Sooners stunned the Vols on Saturday:

Mayfield wasnāt the only one to provide an entertaining postgame moment in OUās triumph. Coach Bob Stoops couldnāt pick just one guy to award the game ball to after his squad's big win, so he gave it to the whole team:
Meanwhile, that same night, Kentucky traveled to South Carolina to try to knock off Steve Spurrierās Gamecocks in their home stadium. As it turns out, they did just that. They were pretty stoked afterward:
Rewinding back to Week 1, Texas A&M and coach Kevin Sumlin were pumped after knocking off then-No. 15 Arizona State in Houston. After a stirring speech from the coach, the players went nuts in the NRG Stadium locker room:
Earlier that day, Pat Fitzgeraldās Northwestern Wildcats upset Stanford 16-6 in Evanston. But it was assistant coach Jerry Brown, not the players or the head coach, who stole the show at the postgame festivities:

And last but certainly not least, BYU has certainly had a roller-coaster season thus far. They won in thrilling fashion in Week 2 against Boise State, but in the season opener against Nebraska, starting quarterback Taysom Hill injured his foot and learned that he will miss the rest of the season. Backup Tanner Mangum came in and won the game on a Hail Mary, but the Cougars embraced Hill in the locker room as only teammates could:
BYU's tender moment just goes to show that the best postgame locker room moments don't necessarily have to be the rowdiest. Because the connections and emotional bonds in college athletics run very, very deep.
Here's to seeing more and more incredible postgame moments, fun and inspirational alike, for the rest of 2015.
