Just when you thought you've seen every catch, someone goes and raises the bar, like Knox College's Ilir Emini did on Saturday.
The 5-foot-9-inch senior ran a normal hitch-and-go route, but with a Lawrence University defender all over him as the ball sailed in his direction, Emini kicked the ball as he fell over the defender and into his outstretch arms for the big catch.
Ah, the ol' kick-the-pass-over-the-defender catch.
Knox College won 20-6, and Emini finished with team-high three receptions for 43 yards. Here's a sideline view of the amazing catch:
