The scarlet and gray combination has become iconic for Ohio State. But for the first time ever, the Buckeyes are going for a darker look for their Oct. 17 game against Penn State.
Nike and Ohio State unveiled new all-black uniforms Saturday on Twitter. The uniforms still have touches of the Buckeyes' traditional color scheme with the bold scarlet numbers outlined in gray. The hints of scarlet are also featured on the helmet, pants and cleats.
