LSU football: Mike the Tiger goes gator hunting

The No. 8 Florida Gators have been red hot this season. But, the sixth-ranked Tigers of LSU are hoping to cool them down a bit when they visit Baton Rouge this weekend.

To give themselves a little edge, LSU sent its anthropomorphic mascot, Mike the Tiger, to get some gator-hunting tips from Louisiana native and "Swamp People" star Tommy Chauvin.

Chauvin took Mike, decked out in some stylish camo LSU overalls, out on the bayou to get prepared for Saturday's game.

The "big bad gators" they caught looked a little small; maybe it's a good thing Mike won't be on the field facing the full-sized Gators from Gainesville.
