Maryland to don throwback uniforms against PSU

Maryland has beaten Penn State twice in its history. Perhaps paying tribute to one of those victories will help them get a third W over the Nittany Lions.

Maryland announced on Monday that they will wear throwback uniforms inspired by the gear they wore when they beat Penn State for the first time in 1961.

A simple but stylish look for the Terrapins. It also does a fantastic job of mirroring the original uniforms.

Here’s a look at the 1961 gear:

Saturday’s game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET and will air on ESPN.
