Once you play football at the University of Tennessee, you become a Vol for Life. And perhaps the greatest "VFL" stopped by Tuscaloosa for Tennessee's game with Alabama.
Peyton Manning took time during the Denver Broncos' bye week to cheer on his alma mater as the Vols square off against No. 8 Crimson Tide.

Manning was spotted on the field during the warmups and even Alabama coach Nick Saban decided to jog across the field to shake hands with the Broncos QB.

During Manning's career in Knoxville, the quarterback won three games against the Crimson Tide, including the memorable 41-14 win in 1995. Manning scored a touchdown on the first play of the game with the pass to wide receiver Joey Kent, who is also in attendance for Saturday's game.
