Zach Johnson to serve as honorary captain for Iowa

What a time to be an Iowa Hawkeye. Iowa is currently undefeated, and it’s looking more and more likely that the Hawkeyes will capture the Big Ten West and earn a spot in the conference championship game.

PGA star Zach Johnson happens to be a huge Iowa fan, and on Saturday, he will serve as an honorary captain for the Hawkeyes when they take on Maryland at Kinnick Stadium.

Iowa is 7-0 on the season and has a favorable schedule going forward. It’s good to see that big names such as Johnson are starting to take notice of what’s becoming a magical season in Iowa City.
