Northwestern football to honor George R.R. Martin

Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism, Media and Integrated Marketing Communications will honor best-selling author George R.R. Martin at its home football game against Penn State on Saturday. Martin is a 1970 Northwestern graduate.

The author’s best-known work was adapted into HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ television series. The Wildcat marching band will perform music from the hit show during halftime of the game.

Northwestern is clearly pumped for his arrival:

We can’t wait for Saturday.
