Boston College football: Doug Flutie models team's throwback uniform

Boston College announced in August that they would wear throwback uniforms honoring Doug Flutie’s days as the team’s quarterback when they took on Notre Dame this season.

Well, with the game against the Fighting Irish just a few days away, Under Armour and the school are giving us all a closer look at the jerseys… with Flutie modeling them.

Awesome. Flutie is one of the greatest players in Boston College history, so it’s cool to see the team pay tribute to him and for him to help promote the school at the same time.

The Eagles won’t be the only team to wear special gear during Saturday’s matchup, though. Notre Dame is set to wear “Green Monster” jerseys for the contest to be played at Fenway Park.
