Miami football: The U releases Welcome Home, Mark Richt video

From 1979-1982, Mark Richt was a backup quarterback for Howard Schnellenberger's Miami Hurricanes.

Now, after coaching stints at FSU, East Carolina and Georgia, Richt is returning to Coral Gables.

And, with a homegrown coach returning after a sustained period of success, Miami's athletic department couldn't resist welcoming Richt home --and pumping up their fans-- with a video highlighting some accomplishments from his illustrious career.

The ACC Coastal is bound to get interesting.

Miami took over the No. 1 spot in the D1Baseball Top 25 rankings after sweeping its opening series against Rutgers. The Hurricanes moved up two spots from No. 3, taking advantage of losing weekends by Louisville and Vanderbilt, the top two teams in the preseason rankings.
