Clemson football: Tigers look to the past in ACC Champ. hype video

Ronald Reagan was in the first year of his presidency the last time Clemson won the national title.

Clemson began the 1981 college football season unranked and ended it as the undefeated national champions. Fast forward to 2015 and the No. 1 Tigers are an ACC Championship victory away from a College Football Playoff berth and a shot at their first national title in 34 years. 

Clemson released a hype video splicing the greatest moments of the 2015 season and the 1981 season. Maybe this can keep the team's spark alive for three more wins.

Oklahoma State won the national title on its home course last season, defeating Alabama in the finals at Karsten Creek. Led by U.S. Amateur champion Viktor Hovland and the Cowboys have won six tournaments this season, taking the Big 12 title in their previous start.
