Michigan State football center Jack Allen loves Bubbles, his Craigslist cat

You might think a playoff-bound, 6-foot-2 first-team All-American offensive lineman and a cute cat would not make the perfect roommates.

Michigan State's Jack Allen proves that wrong.

Allen's roommate adopted a cat via Craigslist at the start of the semester. Allen bonded with the feline when he came back to campus following summer break.

He wasn't sure about the pet at first, Allen told USA Today, but now loves Bubbles the cat, and says, "It's almost like a dog. When you walk in and whistle, he just comes running."

Bubbles still can make Allen angry sometimes, but Spartan QB Connor Cook affirmed to USA Today that "the cat is Jack's favorite."

However, Allen is still a little feline illiterate. When asked what kind of cat he owns, he responded, "a Craigslist cat?"
