In the spirit of the holidays, Urban Meyer and Ohio State made one young fan's wish come true with a behind-the-scenes tour of Buckeyes' football facilities, as well as tickets to the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 1.
OSU partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the local morning show, "Good Day Columbus" to give 5-year-old Kevin Jones a unique experience. Jones, who was diagnosed with a life-threatening blood disorder for four years and has battled two tumors during that span, met Buckeye stars Joey Bosa and J.T. Barrett, tried on the Buckeye's championship rings and even played catch with Meyer.
But Jones' time with the Buckeyes didn't end in Columbus. Afterwards, Meyer presented Jones and his family with tickets to the Fiesta Bowl match against Notre Dame, meaning Jones will have another amazing opportunity to see his favorite players and coaches, this time on the field.
