This past fall, AL.com reporter Natalie Pierre Williams was injured in a car fire in Hoover, Alabama. Williams was severely harmed in the accident -- she suffered burns to 75 percent of her body and has since undergone numerous procedures.
She has been in the UAB ICU for five months, and a prominent college football wife sent Williams her best wishes this past Christmas season. Shelley Meyer, the wife of Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer, sent a care package to Williams a short while ago. It includes a lengthy note, an inspirational book and a wrapped gift.
5 months later & I'm still in the ICU. Prayers to all who have supported me.Just got this one from Shelly Meyer. pic.twitter.com/Ne7dWOf5sK

Meyer reminds Williams that they met before the accident in her letter. Our best wishes go out to Williams, and good for the Meyer family for extending a kind hand toward someone going through a rough time.
