Old and new Gator kickers drill 55-yard field goals simultaneously

Earlier this year, the Florida Gators made headlines for holding an open tryout in an attempt to find the team’s new kicker. Florida appears to have found its man in Eddy Piniero, and Piniero and Gator legend Judd Davis are showing off some cool tricks at the team’s practice facility.

Watch as Piniero and Davis each drill 55-yard field goals…. at the same time, through the same goal post. It’s every kicking enthusiast’s dream:

Davis won the Lou Groza Award in 1993 and was elected to the Florida Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011. Gator fans are surely hoping that Piniero can have similar success in Gainesville.
