1947 Heisman winner shares wisdom with Malik Zaire

Notre Dame football is a program rich in history and tradition, and former Fighting Irish greats return to South Bend frequently to share their experiences with the current team.

Johnny Lujack, an ex-Notre Dame quarterback that won the Heisman Trophy in 1947, recently sat down with Irish QB Malik Zaire in what turned out to be an intriguing discussion. Zaire was on his way to having a fantastic 2015 season before breaking his ankle against Virginia in Week 2, and in 2016, he’ll battle with DeShone Kizer for the starting role.
