Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey broke all sorts of records during his sophomore season, and now that he's become a local celebrity, he's trying to inspire others.
During opening day of the Palo Alto Little League, McCaffrey met some of the players, spoke to the crowd and offered some words of wisdom for the up-and-coming sports stars of tomorrow.
Last year, McCaffrey broke Barry Sanders' record for all-purpose yards with 3,864, finished second in the Heisman Trophy ballot and helped Stanford win the 2016 Rose Bowl.
