Kelly reacts to Will Fuller being drafted in the first round

There is nothing quite like the relationship between coach and player in college football.

Former Notre Dame wide receiver Will Fuller’s bond with Fighting Irish head coach Brian Kelly is clearly strong. As Fuller’s dream became a reality on Thursday night when he was drafted by the Houston Texans, Kelly was among the first to congratulate him.

Fuller was a speedster in college and looks like he will be a supreme deep threat in the NFL. He averaged 20.3 yards per reception in 2015 and hauled in 29 touchdown passes in his last two seasons in South Bend.
