Ducks to wear 1916 throwbacks for spring game

The Oregon football program will be throwing it all the way back to 100 years ago with their uniform choices for Saturday's spring game.

The Ducks will be wearing jerseys featuring its original school colors (blue, yellow and white) in honor of its 1916 Rose Bowl team.

The two teams playing in the spring game will be the "Mighty Oregon" and the "Webfoots," which will be reflected with text on the jerseys.

According to Oregon Athletics, players on the current team came up with the idea of wearing the uniforms.

Check out the jerseys in action when the Mighty Oregon and Webfoots face off at 2 p.m. ET on Pac-12 Networks.
