Jaylon Smith’s reaction to being selected by the Cowboys

You have to feel happy for Jaylon Smith. Touted by many as a potential top-five NFL Draft pick before suffering a gruesome knee injury in the Fiesta Bowl, the ex-Notre Dame linebacker was chosen by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the draft on Friday night.

His reaction was heartwarming. Take a look:

Smith started every game for Notre Dame over the past two seasons. He’s expected to miss the 2016 season with the knee injury, but is hopeful to return to form in 2017 and beyond.
