Watch: Duke's Doyle surprised with scholarship

Duke coach David Cutcliffe had a surprise in store for a team meeting, and even Danny Doyle's parents were in on it.

Cutcliffe received a call from Doyle's parents and answered it in front of the team, but handed the phone to Doyle so his parents could tell him he had been awarded a scholarship. Doyle is a junior defensive end who spent his first two years at Duke as a walk-on. He was on the field for two snaps, against Kansas and Tulane, in 2014.

Watch the emotional moment below as Doyle was rewarded for his hard work as a member of the Duke football team.
