Arkansas mascot sends ‘Mike the Tiger’ flowers

LSU announced on Monday that its beloved mascot, Mike the Tiger, has been diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma, an inoperable form on cancer. Folks from around the world of college athletics are sending their condolences to Mike, but one gesture stands out in particular.

Arkansas Razorback mascot ‘Tusk’ sent flowers and a thoughtful message to Mike, which is noteworthy given Arkansas and LSU’s intense history of athletic competition.
