ACC Kickoff: Players, coaches have fun with virtual reality competition

Virtual reality entertainment continues to rise in 2016. The ACC Digital Network decided to have some fun of its own with the trend by setting up a virtual reality room at its football kickoff event in Charlotte on Thursday.

Players and coaches from Coastal Division teams played Fruit Ninja on the VR headsets and the results were hilarious:

UNC coach Larry Fedora took joy in defeating Ryan Switzer, while Virginia Tech head coach Justin Fuente wasn't so lucky against Sam Rogers:

We've got some quarterback competition between Miami's Brad Kaaya and Georgia Tech's Justin Thomas:

ACC Digital Network even kept a leaderboard going all day, although no word on the official results yet:

Update: Boston College Myles Willis is the winner after Atlantic Division teams had their turn on Friday:
