Michigan-Michigan State play recreated in animated LEGO form

In case you missed it, on Tuesday we wrote about Tanner Mangum’s game-winning Hail Mary against Nebraska being recreated in animated LEGO form. It’s as silly and entertaining as it sounds.

There were multiple unforgettable plays from the 2015 college football season, so naturally, there are multiple animated LEGO videos. Next up: Michigan State’s dramatic victory over Michigan on a botched punt from last October:

“I wanted to make it really detailed, even down to the bricks in the background,” Jared Jacobs, the creator of the video, told the Detroit Free-Press. “It took awhile to accumulate that much LEGO.”

You have to appreciate the detail of the video, from Jim Harbaugh’s khakis to Michigan State’s joyous celebration. The two teams will square off this season on Saturday, Oct. 29 in East Lansing.
