Watch Bristol Motor Speedway transform into football stadium

In just two short weeks, close to 160,000 Tennessee and Virginia Tech football fans are expected to pack Bristol Motor Speedway for the "Battle at Bristol" on Sept. 10.

Bristol Motor Speedway hosted its second race of the NASCAR season on Aug. 20, so construction on the speedway couldn't start until this week. But watch the incredible time lapse video as the field is installed over the course of four days inside the half-mile short track:

It is no easy task transforming one of the toughest NASCAR tracks into a college football stadium, but it will be all worth it in the end.

The "Battle at Bristol" is already expected set a college football attendance record with the chance to shatter the previous 115,109 record set by Notre Dame and Michigan in 2013.
