Recap of Saturday's exciting action

College Football: 5 best quarterbacks of 2016

Saturday was the third of five straight days of college football in what has been proclaimed the "greatest opening weekend" in the sport's history. And boy, there were some crazy matchups and upsets to justify this claim.

There were 57 FBS games on Saturday's docket starting with a 7:30 a.m. ET matchup in Dublin, Ireland between Boston College and Georgia Tech and closing with a trio of games starting around 10:30 p.m. ET. In between there were 17 ranked teams in action including three games played between top 25 teams.
