It seems like every week a new alternate football jersey is designed that tops all those previously seen behind unique color schemes and designs. But it will be hard to surpass Arizona's latest release, due to the deeper meaning that goes way beyond its look.
This Saturday Arizona will wear uniforms that will remember and honor the U.S.S. Arizona and its crew, which was bombed in the Pearl Harbor attack 75 years ago. The Wildcats' attention to detail is incomparable as their jerseys and helmets will display numerous decals and patches that each have a different connection to the battleship.

Among the features, Arizona's jersey back nameplates will display the ship's hull number, the helmets' backs will show the U.S.S. Arizona's battlecry "At 'em Arizona" and the "A" featured on the helmets' sides will mirror the ship's football team's logo.
