Beamer experiences 'Enter Sandman' as a fan

For 29 years, Frank Beamer was the head football coach at Virginia Tech. Beamer helped build a culture in Blacksburg; the Hokies won 238 games during his tenure, and Lane Stadium became one of the hottest venues in college football.

Virginia Tech is also known for having one of the best entrances in the country. The Hokies run out to Metallica’s "Enter Sandman" for every game, and it’s bound to give you goosebumps every time you watch:

Beamer is retired now, but he remains close to the program. He finally got to experience the "Enter Sandman" tradition from the outside with his wife Cheryl:
