UCLA brought in a champion before its primetime matchup against Stanford to try to get the crowd even more amped up than it undoubtedly already was.
Power forward Kevin Love, who won an NBA title with the Cleveland Cavaliers in June and played with UCLA basketball for the 2007-08 season, returned to Los Angeles to lead the Rose Bowl in a massive Eight-Clap cheer. The tradition that accompanies the fight song is mastered by just about anyone who has ever been a Bruin, so it provided some really cool visuals and sounds on Saturday.

Love's appearance came just a few days after it was announced that he was pledging a record donation to the university. He was at the game to be honored for that generous contribution.
