No. 4 Michigan sets up first score with unique Power I Formation

Jim Harbaugh added a unique touch to the power-I formation for No. 4 Michigan against No. 8 Wisconsin.

Harbaugh called for nine players to be directly behind center Mason Cole, and had quarterback Wilston Speight speaking to the Wolverines in the long line.

Then, they got into a traditional, tight formation to pave the way for De'Veon Smith to run up the middle for 5 yards against the Badgers.

Khalid Hill, a 6-foot-2, 263-pound fullback, plunged into the end zone on the next play for a 1-yard touchdown to put Michigan ahead 7-0 in the matchup of 4-0 Big Ten teams.
