Still feeling good off of last week’s win over No. 1 North Dakota State, the South Dakota State football team was surprised with new black uniforms for this week’s game against Youngstown State.

While the uniforms look great, the players’ reactions were even better. Two players, junior defensive end Chase Kern and sophomore full back Luke Sellers, were given the first look at the uniforms, and the pair donned the new look to unveil the surprise to their teammates during a practice meeting. Sellers wore a camera on the new helmet to capture the reaction.

They were pretty excited. The team gets to show off the new look at home on Saturday at 2 p.m.
