Wisconsin kicker walks with Nebraska to honor Sam Foltz

Wisconsin kicker Rafael Gaglianone changed his uniform number to 27 to start the season in honor of his friend and former Nebraska punter Sam Foltz, who died this offseason in a July car accident. With the two Big Ten powers meeting on the gridiron Saturday night, Gaglianone continued to show respect toward Foltz's memory.

Gaglianone joined the Huskers team in walking out of the tunnel for pregame warmups, as members of Nebraska carried out Foltz's No. 27 jersey as they do every weekend. Walking side-by-side with his opposing colors, he was embraced warmly by Nebraska players.

Saturday's game has a lot on the line between two ranked teams fighting for position in the Big Ten East. But it's heartwarming to see the two teams come together for something that goes beyond the game.

There was pomp and circumstance and a full house and all eight CWS teams lining up around the infield before the game, with a player from each throwing the ceremonial first pitch. Great visual.
