Lewis pokes fun at himself with ‘Evil Kermit’ meme

Remember this Jourdan Lewis interception against Wisconsin?

It was an all-timer. With the Badgers trailing late in the fourth, quarterback Alex Hornibrook made a last-ditch effort to bring Wisconsin back into the game, but Lewis was having none of it. The Michigan DB’s one-handed interception was extremely impressive.

With that said, while Lewis’ play was spectacular, nitpickers will point out that it wasn’t the right football move. The Wolverines lost significant field position on the play; an incomplete pass would have given Michigan the ball deep inside of enemy territory.

Lewis hears the critics, and he’s responding with humor. “Evil” or “Hooded” Kermit is a personification of selfishness, greed, etc. With that context, here’s what he tweeted on Wednesday:

Self-deprecating humor is the best.
