CFP: How do Alabama and Clemson stack up?

CFP National Championship: Alabama vs Clemson | Versus

Alabama has won 26 games in a row. Can they be stopped? Well, Clemson is the last team of the 2016-17 football season to try.

In last season's national championship game, Alabama entered with a single loss and took down undefeated Clemson. So, could one-loss Clemson come into the 2017 title game and bring down undefeated Alabama?

It is college football, after all. Anything could happen.

However, the two teams coming into the CFP title game are different from those of one year ago. While Alabama returned 14 starters, it initially struggled to determine who would be the new quarterback. Jalen Hurts stepped in and filled the role well, giving the Crimson Tide a new voice to be led by. Clemson lost a number of starters, but it kept its star quarterback, Deshaun Watson.

Let's take a look at how the teams stack up against one another in different statistical categories from this year.

Both teams have proved themselves to be elite, but only one can be national champion. Will Alabama secure another title, or will Clemson exact revenge for last year?
